Shop Usability Award
The Shop Usability Award is one of the best-known e-commerce awards in Germany. The award has been presented annually since 2008 and attracts more than 700 entries each year. Most recently, t3n magazine named the Shop Usability Award the most prestigious e-commerce award in Germany.
The Shop Usability Award is an initiative of Shoplupe GmbH. Founder and CEO Johannes Altmann wants to use the award to highlight the makers who ensure a user-friendly shopping experience in online stores with a great deal of creativity, commitment and dedication.
In contrast to previous years, this year's award ceremony was not held as a gala event, but took place on site at the winners' locations as part of a tour of Germany. Equipped with a double-decker bus, film crew and red carpet, the gala concept was innovatively adapted to the current circumstances.
The winner in the category "Toys, Kids & Baby" is the Family Concept Store VueLove.de, which was launched in July. The jury, which consists of the best-known personalities in the industry, was impressed by the simple and intuitive usability and the high quality of the merchandise presentation.
The assortment of VueLove.de is based on the idea to offer sustainable and high-quality articles for the whole family. In doing so, the company deliberately avoids oversupply and focuses on durability and high-quality design. In addition to fast delivery, the focus is also on excellent service.
Shop des Jahres
Ultimately, however, this is not the only award that has drawn attention to VueLove.de. In 2022, the VueLove.de team was also nominated as "Shop of the Year".
This award is presented annually by the online portal Acquisa and honors stores that excel in usability, customer service, social commitment, and sustainability and marketing. The stores are evaluated on the basis of various guiding questions. These enable an objective evaluation - subjective assessments, bias and distortions can thus be minimized in the assessment. Stores in a total of 15 categories receive awards. These include furniture & furnishings, fashion & accessories, electronics & software, dorgerie, wellness & beauty, toys, children's & baby equipment, and decorative & gift articles.
